A sleeping spot your cat will actually use

Two shapes, one decision
Open basket
The woven rope basket sits low and lets a cat keep an eye on the room while it naps. Ear-shaped handles make it easy to carry between the sofa and the window.
Covered cave
The cocoon beds wrap around the cat with a hooded opening, which is what nervous cats look for. They run from a 15.7 inch nest up to a 39.5 inch cocoon for two cats.
Both wash clean
A bed that cannot be washed ends up in the bin. The rope basket is hand washed and dried flat, and the plush covers wipe or wash without losing their shape.

About Zenvuora
Zenvuora began with a cat that ignored three shop-bought beds in a row and slept in a cardboard box instead. The answer turned out to be shape, not price: some cats want walls around them, and some want to watch the door.
So the shop keeps two shapes rather than thirty. An open rope basket for the cats that sprawl in the middle of a warm room, and a hooded cocoon for the ones that fold themselves out of sight.
Every bed is measured in centimetres and inches before it is listed, because the word large means nothing when a cat weighs twelve pounds. The size range runs from a 15.7 inch nest to a 39.5 inch cocoon.
The beds are chosen for washing as much as comfort. Rope is hand washed and dried flat; the plush covers come off or wipe clean. A bed that holds onto smell does not stay in a house for long.
If your cat has never used a bed before, tell us where it usually sleeps and we will point you at the shape that is most likely to work first time.

Choosing a bed
Should I choose an open basket or a covered cave?
Watch where the cat already sleeps. On top of a sofa or a windowsill points to an open basket. Under a duvet, behind a curtain or inside a box points to a covered cave.
How do I pick the right size?
Measure the cat curled up and add about a hand's width. The rope basket comes in 35, 40 and 46 centimetres, and the cocoon beds run from 40 centimetres for a small cat up to 100 centimetres for two.
Can the beds be washed?
Yes. Hand wash the woven rope basket in cool water and dry it flat so the shape holds. The plush cocoon covers wash without losing their loft, and they should be air dried.
Will a covered bed make my cat too hot?
In a warm room, an open basket is the better summer choice. The covered beds suit cats that sleep in draughts or on cold floors, and they can be moved to a cooler spot in July.
